It keeps its colour and it is not a layer over a base material. Over time brass will naturally tarnish, due to the copper content. This means that it can get darker or dull.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\/ Taking care of brass \/\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"\"\u003eRinse your brass object with warm water and mild soap every once in a while, dry and clean them regularly with a soft cotton cloth.
